The IPSSW2010 Organising Committee is proud to announce that the 3rd International Paediatric Simulation Symposium and Workshops (IPSSW2010) will be held in Madrid, Spain, 29-30 September 2010.

We hope to build on the successes of the previous meetings in Stockholm and Florence, which attracted attendees from 20 Countries and 8 Paediatric sub-specialties.

IPSSW2010 will represent the largest single gathering devoted to Paediatric Simulation. We have seen attendance numbers grow exponentially over the last 2 years and therefore we plan to restrict attendance numbers in order to maintain the personal feel of the meeting and allow for fruitful small group discussion to take place between subspecialty interest groups.

Our target audience includes all individuals interested in the art and the science of simulation based education and training for pre and post-graduate training of a wide range of multidisciplinary, multiprofessional paediatric health care providers.

Our scientific programme will cater for the multidisciplinary, multi-professional audience from the entire spectrum of specialties involved with Peri-natal and Paediatric care. It will contain keynote lectures from leaders in the field of Perinatal and Paediatric Simulation, round table discussions in smaller subspecialty and interest groups, workshops and poster presentations.

Conference activities will take place in the Circulo de Bellas Artes de Madrid. It is a prestigious venue with impressive exhibition and catering areas located in the very heart of Madrid with easy access via public transport.
